Eligibility Overview

Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for residence at Willamette Living Group, applicants must:

✅ Be 18 years of age or older
✅ Commit to maintaining sobriety (minimum 30 days preferred)
✅ Be willing to live in a structured, accountable environment
✅ Be able to pay housing fees on time (personally or through agency support)
✅ Be respectful, cooperative, and capable of shared living
✅ Agree to house rules, random drug/alcohol screening, and accountability standards

Applicants are reviewed individually to ensure a safe, supportive fit for our community.

Ideal Candidates

Are transitioning from unstable housing, family couch-surfing, or major life changes
Are employed, seeking work, studying, or rebuilding independence
Value accountability, structure, and sober living
Want a respectful, adult-centered community
Are ready to take responsibility for their daily routines and progress

Our most successful housemates are mature, responsible, and motivated to rebuild stability.

Not a Good Fit For

Our homes are not suitable for individuals who:

Are actively using alcohol or drugs
Require clinical or medical detox services
Are unwilling to follow house rules or community guidelines
Have violent, sexual, or arson-related criminal histories
Want a program that will supervise or micromanage them

We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for unsafe behaviors within our homes.

Step 1 – Submit Your Application

You’ll provide basic information about your situation, your commitment to sobriety, and your goals for stability and independence.

Step 2 – Interview

💬 Once your application is received, a WLG team member will reach out to schedule a short phone or video interview.

This allows you to ask questions and helps us confirm that the home is the right fit.
We understand this is a big step — our role is to keep the process clear, respectful, and judgment-free.

Step 3 – Acceptance

✅ IIf accepted, we’ll confirm your placement and provide move-in details, expectations, and next steps.
You’ll also be introduced to your House Captain — your main point of contact for structure, communication, and accountability.

Step 4 – Move In

Your House Captain and fellow housemates will help orient you to the home.
From day one, you become part of a sober, structured, respectful community built on responsibility and stability.
